Cave les Sentes – Loc (Sierre)
Perched on a hill in the little village of Loc, Cave les Sentes enjoys a unique position in the middle of the vines, with an exceptional panorama of the surrounding vineyards.
The winery was founded in 1985 by Lucie Heymoz and is now run by her son, Serge Heymoz, who took over in 1999. Keen to produce high-quality wines, he stays up to date with the latest trends in grape variety planting mixes, assimilates any new techniques and seeks to remain in harmony with nature.
One of the main claims to fame of Cave les Sentes is that it vinifies the oldest recorded grape variety in Valais: Rèze, which you can experience during a tasting in its authentic carnotzet (wine bar).
